EVALUATION STUDY

At the beginning of the third year of the project, the design for the evaluation study will be developed to measure the impact of prevention measures.

cluster-randomized study is suitable for success control / evaluation. In contrast to the randomization of individuals into different experimental conditions, the persons to be interviewed are assigned to a cluster of an institutional accommodation.

This makes sense, as

1) The implementation of the multi-component prevention concept to be developed will be carried out in an institutional accommodation, and

2) the structures of the institutional accommodation themselves are the subject of prevention. Randomization is carried out in a way that the institutional accommodations under consideration are allocated to the conditions of "implementation of the prevention concept" and "control facility".

At least one institutional accommodation that will/has implemented the prevention concept to be developed and a control facility at two survey points (pre-post) will be examined. In the study, data are collected and evaluated at the level of the refugees, as well as at the level of the qualification of the setting (qualification of professionals, structural conditions of the setting).
